More Epic Death Guard Tacticals

I finished the last of my Death Guard tactical marines and support. Well, probably not the last, but I've done 16 bases, plus three tactical support, and three heavy support; so enough for a reasonable sized force which will do for now.
Here you can see he latest marines I've painted. They will be plague marines in 40k games, and tactical marines in 30k.

A Home Made Dark Future Scenario

I'm a big fan of making things yourself. It appeals to my increasingly frugal nature and encourages creativity and diversity. While I haven't made anything anywhere near as cool as some of the inventive people in China have, like these guys did, I have come up with a scenario for pick up games of Dark Future.

Dark Future Chevy Pro Stocker

Back in 1988 I had this old Chevy Stocker matchbox car that I used in games of Dark Future.

I had filed all of the paint off (I hadn't heard of stripping paint then), put dents in it with nails, even hammered it a little, to make it look old and beaten up.

As it didn't have any paint on it (just a few file marks!) there was no requirement for any paint to be stripped; so it was my first choice the be updated now that I've rediscovered my old boxed set. So after an evening's attentions it now has all sorts of little extras added on, as well as a more realistic paint job.
1976 Chevelle Laguna S-3. One owner. Low mileage.

An Epic Green Platoon

The flyers were screaming in hot. The enemy must be on their tail, as inside the cramped transport compartment the guardsmen were being thrown around as the pilot jinked to avoid enemy fire.
Burr was oblivious. His mind was occupied; elsewhere. His men were glancing at him, looking without trying to look like they were looking.
The Commissar seemed unaware of this, as he adjusted his grav chute harness, readying himself for the drop. He spouted some litany to green platoon as he did so. Burr smiled and watched his lips moving, pretending to listen. It was close now, and the excitement was building within him. He could feel his pulse racing; every fibre of his being poised in anticipation of what was to come. He needed it, like he needed air and water. Without it he would die. His men felt the same. Every one of them was feeling what he felt. Needing it, wanting it, watching the seconds painfully crawl by like hours as the time came closer.

Epic Death Guard Outriders

As their name suggests, these Death Guard outriders act as scouts and flanking units for my Death Guard marine army in 30k games. I wanted to include some bikers as I have them in the 28mm version of the army as well.

Dark Future Kitbash Turrets

So I'm fully enthused about Dark Future at the moment! The distant future of 1995 where lawless gangs rule the post apocalyptic badlands.
I'm away from home, and what I would give to have a die cast car or two with me to work with! Ah well, such is life.
But I have managed to make some progress, even without the cars.
I kit bashed (and scratch built) up three turret weapon prototypes; a chaingun, a heavy laser (aka lascannon), and an autocannon.
